Can a hybrid of Dell support my old monitor?
I have a screen size (not flat screen). Here are the specifications for Dell Hybrid "System includes DVI and HDMI ports. VGA is not compatible". So if I have an older model, would most likely have a VGA connector? I know mine is about an inch long with a lot of small holes and screws on the CPU. I'm dying to have a cute purple computer, but I will not buy a new screen, too. Thank you!
According to the Dell Studio Hybrid 140 user manual: http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/140g/en/SG/G360CA01MR.pdf He says you can use a VGA monitor with it, but you must buy the VGA adapter separately. The problem is that you can not say the manual if Dell has changed the construction of system specs recently. If the manual is correct and DVI output at the Studio Hybrid is a DVI-I port which can output digital DVI and analog VGA signal video, and all you need is a VGA adapter gateway like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814999201 The best reason to buy a computer as ultra-compact Studio Hybrid is the place to win though. I call to replace the bulky CRT monitor with a flat boat in harmony with the space saving item. 
A good alternative would be the Mac Mini from Apple. It is also an ultra-compact as the Studio Hybrid with very similar specifications (Core 2 Duo processor, 1GB of RAM, DVD, etc.) and can run Windows natively with Bootcamp, and I know that is compatible with VGA.
