HD Monitor Vs. HD TV?
Hello, I want to buy an HD screen. To my knowledge, the monitors with HD resolution of 1080 and is nearly as large as some HDTVs for a little less (maybe half or the price of 3 / 4). I say this because nothing is analog now because of my favorite shows in high definition on the Web (eg Lost) and connection boxes determine how you select your channels, television is almost useless, even if it is HD. Now you can buy tuners HD days, so I have an infinite number of entries the screen itself, and most come with DV and HDMI inputs. Am I correct in my thinking? Is there anything better in TV as a computer monitor HD?
Well, it depends. Some high-definition monitors have features that would have an HDTV. One is speaker integrated. Some other high end monitors do not. Some HDTVs have a lot of connections which means you can connect a PS3, Wii, Xbox 360, etc. Computer monitors usually have sufficient connections to a computer. Also you get more HDMI inputs / outputs on TV. So if you need a complete unit in an HDTV is better. The sizes are usually better for the price, for example. You can get a Dell 27 "HD Monitor just over $ 1,000 you can get a 32 "Sony HDTV for about $ 800. So it depends on what you need. If you only need one monitor for a computer you only need an HD monitor. If you want to play PC games / consoles, regular TV and the Media unit and an HDTV is a better buy.
