Although the Xbox 360 has a low paper specifications compared to PlayStation 3, many people have opted for the Xbox, for its online community. Once you get your computer "talk" to the network, in other words, the Internet connection, then you should find this works when you connect your Xbox inside. Beware the green lights on your router to show he has the authority and connection.
4) If you want to connect your Xbox to your router via a wireless connection, then you must buy a receiver that connects the Xbox to the Xbox itself, not supplied standard with the package.
There may be other factors that you can see, you may need to call your ISP or hotline line support for the router / modem you have purchased. But at least now you should have the fundamentals in place.
